2. What if I have already filled in the Tutor Registration Form before?

In that case, you do not have to fill in the Tutor Registration Form again!

3. Does being a Part-Time or Full-Time Tutor affect my chance of winning?

No, it does not matter at all. As long as you are a tutor of the tuition jobs provided by FamilyTutor in 2023, you are eligible for the RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023. You being a Part-Time or Full-Time Tutor does not affect your chance of winning.

4. Does the number of tuition jobs I get from FamilyTutor in 2023 affect my chance of winning?

Yes, it does. For a tutor to be eligible for the RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023, he/she must be a tutor for AT LEAST one tuition job provided by FamilyTutor in 2023.

That said, a tutor who gets more tuition jobs from FamilyTutor has a higher chance of being crowned the Top 20 Tutors of 2023 and/or winning the $1000 cash prize.

5. Is there a minimum grade improvement that my student has to achieve for me to be eligible for RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023?

Fortunately, no.

As long as your student attains a better grade under your tutelage, you are eligible for RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023.

6. How should I compare the 'Before' & 'After' grades?

The ‘Before’ grades can be taken from any school/national test or exam done by your student(s) in 2022 or 2023.

The ‘After’ grades must be taken from any school/national test or exam done by your student(s) who are under your tutelage in 2023.

7. What should the short self-appraisal contain?

It should have a 100- to 300-word write-up to highlight how much you have done for our students to help them achieve those improvements.

8. What if I forget about this RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023?

In 2023, you will receive a monthly email reminder of the existence of this RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023.

As long as you do not unsubscribe to our email list and you remember to check your email inbox, you will remember it.

9. How do I submit my students' grade improvements and my self-appraisal?

In Dec 2023, you will receive a link via email to submit your documents to FamilyTutor.

10. When will I know the results?

The winners of RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023 will be announced via email before 25 December 2023 (Mon).

The prospective Top 20 Tutors of the Year will be assessed based on three criteria with equal weighting (33.33% each):

Number of students that the tutor gets from FamilyTutor in 2023
Grade improvement of the tutor’s student(s)
The quality of the self-appraisal

The prospective recipients of the $1000 cash prize will be chosen out of the Top 20 Tutors of the Year based on just these two criteria with equal weight (50% each):

Grade improvement of the tutor’s student(s)
The quality of the self-appraisal

13. What useful advice would FamilyTutor give to tutors who are reading this?

It can be really easy to emerge as the winners of this RockStar Tutor Award ® 2023!
